I finally accomplished what I set out to do over a year ago and beat @bursterror.bsky.social 's time in Karnov NES! (And I guess improve my own time)

Christmas is OK, but I'm excited about New Year's Steve.

Shovel Knight is a good example. I've also played Kaze and the Wild Masks and Windswept this past week, and both of those also only have one speed. Windswept can be surprisingly precise as well, but it all works.

I think this is why the run button concept has been getting phased out. It worked when controllers were simple and all you did is run and jump. Now games are more precise and complicated, so if it needs to move around that much, you suddenly have that lose of momentum.

This is my personal favorite option, if you need a walk option at all.

I wanted "3D Culex" in the remake to be a low poly model like Final Fantasy 7. If it were an indie game, I think it would have been done, but I knew not to expect it from the big N. Would have been hilarious though.

I'm not sure if I'm more surprised that Sony is spending effort on acknowledging Concord, or if it totally makes sense they want to bury this as much as possible.

Claymorton is one of my favorite changes and I often fight anyone who says otherwise. I also like Speardovitch a lot better, just cause its clearer and easier for me to say and remember.
