Throng of pool clubbing twenty-somethings
November 26, 2025 at 4:18 PM
The second Jones threw his second TD, Steichen needed to feed Taylor for the rest of the game. Putting it in Jones' hands over & over & over is a surefire way to lose against good teams
November 26, 2025 at 3:30 PM
Was in Vegas recently and I was shocked to see hundreds and hundreds of young twenty-somethings clubbing. Pool club cover was $75/woman, $125/man 👀

Guess Gen Z hasn't yet figured out that Vegas is a soulless money pit

The trumpers helping Russia with this are literal traitors who should be hanged

If the Raiders are at the top of an offensive metric, I don't care where the Broncos rank – it's a dumb metric.

Seems like Payton's decision-making is a factor in the 8-game winning streak and going for more 4th downs wouldn't improve the team record
November 26, 2025 at 3:10 PM
The Broncos defied expectations to even reach the playoffs last year — rookie QB + $50M in dead cap from Russ. Although the defense was reeling for weeks before playing in Buffalo, Nix was fine in that playoff loss.

Adding Hufanga, Greenlaw, Barron, and Robinson has pushed this unit to a new level
November 25, 2025 at 5:47 PM
I'll criticize that soft-ass schedule all I want. The Broncos' two last-second losses (to playoff teams) are a hell of a lot more respectable than losing to the Steelers (lol) and the Raiders (LOL)
November 25, 2025 at 5:02 PM
Nah. The best offensive players in the league scored just 17 on Denver while turning the ball over twice. Scoring a TD with 2nd-stringers against 2nd-stringers is about as valuable as a preseason drive.

I'd take Nix over Maye in January because Nix doesn't take a fuckload of sacks every game
November 25, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Are you saying KC, HOU, and DAL will all miss the playoffs? That sounds wrong and dumb.

Or are you just trying to rationalize why you think the Pats are better despite far less corroborating evidence?

The Bills game was the Pats Super Bowl.
November 25, 2025 at 4:40 PM
DAL has the best offense in the league. Broncos held Prescott, Lamb, and Pickens to 0 TDs, 2 INTs. The *only* DAL passing TD was via Joe Milton in garbage time.

Discount Denver all you want, they're a really good team with an elite defense. Those tend to do better than QBs who take 3+ sacks/gm
November 25, 2025 at 4:37 PM
That's exactly what Nick Wright said before watching his Chiefs get dismantled last week
November 25, 2025 at 4:21 PM
@ PHI
DAL
@ HOU
KC

Clobbered the Burrow-less Bengals, unlike the Maye who threw a pick six to one of the worst defenses in football and nearly choked the game away 😆

This Pats schedule is, without a doubt, the softest schedule I've ever seen for any NFL team in all the years I've watched football.
November 25, 2025 at 4:20 PM
Say what you will about the Broncos' middling offense, the defense is unbelievably good and can keep them in any game against any opponent (see: @PHI, DAL, @HOU, KC)

Maye is going to run into an elite defense sooner or later and I'm betting it won't be pretty
November 25, 2025 at 4:17 PM
Yeah, I'm saying that'll be part of the Drake Maye legend — win a lot of regular season games and then lose the big games via sacks, INTs, and fumbles
November 25, 2025 at 3:44 PM
Maye looks great for a sophomore, don't get me wrong, but if I were a Pats fan, I'd be nervous about the many sacks — esp. w/Campbell out
November 25, 2025 at 3:43 PM
Diabolical? Weird accusation, but no. Reckless? Yes, definitely
November 25, 2025 at 3:33 PM
Yes. Stroud has missed 3 games this year because he didn't protect himself. Daniels has been out for 5 weeks because he took a dumb hit. Mayfield went out of last night's game after taking a dumb hit and the Bucs lost. Mahomes is barely above .500

Maye's dumb luck will run out
November 25, 2025 at 3:30 PM
If you don't understand why a pick six is worse than a pick, you don't know ball

Mike Vrabel
November 25, 2025 at 3:23 PM
Who's pretending? A pick six is 3-4x as bad as a pick — especially if you have a good defense. Maye's pick six against the Bengals and red zone INT against the Bucs are game-losing plays in the playoffs
November 25, 2025 at 3:11 PM
16 sacks in 12 starts at UNC
34 sacks in 13 starts in '24
35 sacks in 11 starts this year

It's. A. Pattern.
November 25, 2025 at 3:10 PM
It's a pattern. Maye takes a ton of sacks and therefore has a lot of fumbles. Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if a sack-fumble bounces the Pats from the playoffs
November 25, 2025 at 2:53 PM
Maye threw a pick six to the Bengals last week and an endzone pick the week before. Dude had NINETEEN turnovers in 13 games last year. He's averaging .5 fumbles per game this year.

Maye has ball security issues. Trying to point the finger at Nix won't change that
November 25, 2025 at 2:44 PM
Not really. This season, Maye has 6 fumbles and 6 INTs including a pick six (Nix has not thrown a pick six as a pro). Dude had NINETEEN fumbles and INTs in just 13 games last year. Maye is a turnover machine until proven otherwise
