World-class indoorsman who enjoys a nice glass of cola from time to time. Recklessly optimistic. Easily immersed. May also have a thing or two to say about MMOs.
Then you have nothing to worry about... strange then that you're wasting your time by replying to someone the likes of me.

They will *have* to use AI to find new ways to gain efficiency and deliver finished games faster and with lower cost.

Oh, my sweet summer child.

You have no idea. For your own sake, I beg you to educate yourself some before engaging in further discussion.

That’s the equivalent of where we are with AI right now.

Here’s the first cell phone. How are we doing now? It’s can code! Even right now. I’d say software engineering is in more danger than art.

I’m here to tell you that doesn’t matter :) This is transformational technology that will change the way every industry operates.

The real world suggests otherwise.

I’m not sure what to tell ya. Good luck!

Then if you’re prepared to stop playing all games, go for it. And stop using the word slop, it makes you sound like you can’t think for yourself and are just doing as others told you.

Correct on the “make games correctly” and part of that is gaining efficiency through new tech and tools. Which is all this is. It’s just an order of magnitude more transformational… and could actually save the games industry, not wreck it!

Yeah, those idiots who adopted electricity and the automobile were fools.
December 21, 2025 at 12:44 AM
That’s not the reason.
December 21, 2025 at 12:42 AM
This is not correct. And it doesn't matter.
December 21, 2025 at 12:18 AM
This is quite unreasonable. This already is, and will become more standard practice as tools mature. And more than that, as developers try to make games better, quicker and more frugally... what we have right now is unsustainable, as I'm sure you understand.
