yeah i mean my thing is like. i am firmly in the camp that you don't need to do something really elaborate and high concept to make a great album, even a 10/10. stardust is honestly a good example of that. so DTTG is something im very prepared to love. but idk people were glazing.

angel's monologue at the end is really corny but that's kinda the whole deal with Frost Children and again it does Work.
The End feels like the addiction to sobriety story i knew would be coming at some point on this album. over a breakcore beat tho? with ta ukrainka's hooks? fascinating.

right from wrong is interesting to me because i don't think it would work if i didn't know who danny brown was. so much of this is kind of standard platitudes about focusing on yourself and growth and stuff and very standard "got it out the mud" bars but idk. it works here. danny is sincere.

1L0v3myL1f3! is certainly my favorite femtanyl song unfortunately that's not saying a whole lot. shes always missing Something. also im kinda treating this album like an assortment of beats and that's mostly because like. it's a first listen of a danny brown album. i am NOT catching enough of it.

there's just no brakes here. this album feels so nostalgic for me. it's like every weird sound danny has heard and loved over the last 20 years as interpreted by weird hyperpop producers and it turns out we have extremely similar tastes in electronic production.

I got curious and have time to kill before a bus so I checked and out of 14 tracks there are only three that don't credit a transsexual as either a writer, producer, or performer. and i think all of them include quadeca who... y'know....
