I can't help but think of people who aren't as lucky as me, who didn't have the resources to take all the courses or have a family who supports them while they try to find something. I have friends in that situation and it kills me to see them struggle to survive. We deserve extinction.

And so, now, what? The job market has only gotten worse since I've started, I have no contacts whatsoever, the kids I used to tutor can't afford my cheap rates in this economy anymore, and my father is retiring soon which means I'm... fucked. Officially fucked 🫠

If you wanna get superficial and political, I can't even blame the shitty biases of hiring managers bc I'm white, skinny and conventionally attractive. Can't blame my autism either bc my mother made sure to never get me an official diagnosis specifically so it wouldn't show on records.

I follow every fucking job hunting influencer you can think of. I've paid to get my CV reviewed by HR folks. I'm signed up in every website, have profiles in different languages, have separate CVs for different types of jobs. I even have a community management reel.

I did absolutely everything right. I did everything they told me would get me a job (not only a random job, a good one!). Good grades, bilingual, Office courses, marketing courses, soft skills development courses, networking events, CV making courses, interviewing courses... the works.
