This is excellent. If you're a fan of murder mysteries, especially once that are a bit strange and out there ala. Knives Out or Glass Onion, you need to see this. Beautifully acted, cleverly written, funny as hell. Great stuff.

The Residence (2025, Neftlix Series)

Y'know, say what you want about the game as a whole, but Alone in the Dark on Xbox 360 still looks really nice despite its various graphical limitations, and its use of fixed camera angels for certain moments was such a nice touch that we wish more games today dared to do.

These are two Alone in the Dark adaptations from the mid-90s that have seemingly never been scanned and archived online.
I want to buy them and get them archived. But they'll cost us a combined cost of 1146 SEK (€104 / $120) and I don't have that kind of money to spend at the moment.

We hate gay halloween, what do you mean you’re the low poly 3D model of Edward Carnby from Alone in the Dark (1992, DOS) whose colours was entirely based on the game having a limited palette selection and not actually reflecting the character’s intended appearance?

Yeah, so, this is currently our favourite complete game of 2025. An absolutely beautiful original story inspired by the best adventure games and horror games, telling a story that is both a great period piece yet so very vital to today as well. Bravo.

The series is unfortunately kind of stale by now. Both the main and supporting cast are killing it, but nothing feels fresh or special, and the show has sadly regressed to old ways when it comes to writing female characters.

Despite the ending feeling rushed due to Netflix cancelling the show, the season ended up a real delight. This entire series has been nothing but a lovely reimagining of an already great story. Watch it, if you haven't.
