Read a D&D novel and then Cyclopedia Exotica. The D&D one is a fun action adventure, but maybe not the entrypoint.

Cyclopedia Exotica is a great graphic novel about existing as a cyclops in the modern world. A lot of silly jokes, but also trying to get to a higher truth. Rec. #bookreview

Finished Alone Against the North by Adam Shoalts. It's a lovely sort of travelogue about canoeing in the James Bay, Hudson Bay lowlands area. I read his 2nd book last year and this is his first. I've also picked up his 3rd for later.

Just finished Travels with a Tangerine by Tim MacKintosh-Smith. It's a neat history-oriented travelogue by a witty writer.
