Last week, I spent Christmas night watching the live stream of Elayne Boosler performing at Kung Pao Kosher Comedy in San Francisco. As soon as she was on, Gracie came running in, “Where’s aunt Elayne?” So cute. And a great show.

There’s an H.C. Andersen ride at Tivoli in Copenhagen. (Yes, I have been on it and the friend who took me is now the ambassador to the US.) Also dark. It’s called den Flyvende Kuffert (the Flying Trunk) after one of his stories.

One year ago today, this sweet girl moved in with us. Gracie was rescued from the Carson (LA County) shelter and fostered by a family in West LA. She came to us by way of So Cal Weimaraner rescue. She is the perfect dog in so many ways and we are smitten with her.
