I think the genre just hit its height of growth and feels less novel now, but still represents a huge share of gamers :)

I would definitely be fine with some cozy games that are less grounded and overly positivistic to go away though.

Yeah! I completely avoid curator emails and use curator connect.
This is more about streamers and youtubers. I've noticed a weird pattern with twitch channels, all ai generated avatar, 20k-40k followers, no livestream in the last month, but a weekly stream schedule that just repeats the same events.

Ideally it would be something in the steam backend that lets you enter a cvs with steam user IDs and then batch gifts keys to those accounts.

Totally agree and this already happens informally a lot. Some sort of co-owned publisher for indies could be a great thing if done right.

The worst part of that narrative is that it makes you feel like producing something thoughtful and polished is a mistake and you should follow the lead of games that are successful right now - when actually that is not a great path to take.
