No, I'm saying a spying on protesters program would only happen if the boss, the mayor, says so. Last I heard, NYC is still a democracy and police commissioners shouldn't get to do whatever they feel like. They work FOR the elected leader, not themselves.

I did understand what you said, and I could respect it if you were there fighting for Ukraine. But you're not. You're sitting in safety saying that the way to end the war is for Russia to leave and that's not likely to happen soon. Meanwhile, Ukrainians continue to die. It's not for you to decide.
