And here's the thing: a butch cis woman is not closer to being trans than a femme cis woman. A femme trans man is not less trans than an ubermasc trans man who looks like the beefiest lumberjack you've ever seen. What is commonly referred to a "gender identity" sits WAY deeper than that. 3/3

The Creature has never felt so raw, so vulnerable, so human. This might just be my favourite portrayal of him ever.

The movie itself is also fantastic. Both the storytelling and the cinematography are mind-blowing. Can't but recommend seeing it if you haven't yet. 2/2
