Artists and writers are now doomed to waylay the unwary on social media because the people who used to take a cut of our earnings in exchange for explaining how lives would be enriched by owning what we made, decided that making the artists do everything (except make a living) is far more efficient.

Bill Clinton (of all people) has the moral clarity to say what needs to be said, plainly and directly.

I've been hauling a book into being despite long COVID. But I don't seem to have the brain fog-- it's been more a fatigue-palpitations-exhaustion thing. I've written a few poems about it (that aren't in the upcoming book). I feel like I'm actually coming out of it now *knock wood*

Ok so Mo Willems was kind of a savior for young kids at the start of the pandemic lockdowns. My then-kindergartener could count on being able to log into YouTube and draw with Mo Willems every day for weeks. It was awesome

So that's what I was combing out of my kid's hair tonight and squishing with my thumbnail
