It was great! There was a bag full of goodies to use throughout the show (like a fan and confetti popper) and certain actions people were supposed to do during certain scenes/songs. I had a fun time.

I felt similarly about Artemis, but *loved* The Martian.

It’s been a long time since I’ve read it, but I remember liking Snow Crash. @wormholewaffles.bsky.social will probably have more reliable Stephenson recommendations.

Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams is one of my faves.

The shirt does look extra large on her. Maybe it’s Jack’s…

So many it’s hard to come up with a list! The Crisis Point episodes were really clever, the references to other Trek shows are fun, and I really appreciate the humor. I like that as an animated show it can be a little wackier.

You may notice that this film has a papery texture. That is because it only exists on paper.

Before film copyright was settled, studios would deposit reels of paper with each frame printed on them for registration. The Library of Congress kept them and later transferred them back to film.

It’s awful. And even though I live here and have been paying attention to all of this, the summary paragraph in that article is still shocking to read.

Yeah. It can, and is, happening here.
