Ahh we were chatting over lunch,
no screens haha. Sounds like a real family tradition. Love that. Everything this year depends on what this weeks test and my Christmas eve consultant app with further tests tell me. Hoping for the best and trying to be cheerful. New years but depends... 🤷🏻‍♀️

Morning, you have been busy. Pics look good. 🙏 Sounds like a lovely family Christmas morning and chill. Hopefully it's a nice weather day and perhaps you can all go for a walk together. England & Scotland. Yesterday gen z'rs from Hertfordshire asked me what Hogmanay is... 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

It's not just hospitality, all labour-intensive firms are feeling it.

Hospitality runs on tight margins. Rising NI, taxes and business rates, alongside weak economic growth, has led to hiring reductions. Jobs market despite skills shortages has retracted in those sectors.

Great for those with zero hours contracts. As Unison said, good employers are likely already offering similar terms. Although these new rights won't fix employment growth or wage stagnation.

Labour have given crumbs with one hand and taken jobs away in sectors like hospitality with the other!

My mums an amazing cook. Some of her recipes made it onto the supermarket shelves. Not sure I'm allowed to say which brand. However, when we were little, her rock cakes almost broke our teeth. Thankfully her baking improved. So let's go with Rock cakes. haha.

Labour are the Tory party of old. The country is sick of a two-party duopoly and yo-yo politics.

Greens are growing daily.. Proof people want meaningful change.

If Keir Starmer wants a legacy, he should back PR. If he truly cared beyond party politics, he’d do the right thing! But he won't, sadly.

Well, here's hoping nationalisation means you get some new trains once they take back your line. It's a national disgrace.

He's effectively saying these basic human rights are optional. Doesn't matter if it's the Tories or now Labour, they all seem to think they can bend human rights to meet their policy agenda, without consequence.

Were they not called Penny somethings?

The party that really irks me is they made the electorate complicit in their treasonous act. let's see what the future brings...
