I like how close Python is to natural English.
I do not like the lack of static typing. And the lambda syntax is God's most unholy creation. But otherwise the language is ergonomic. Less annoying than vanilla JS bc it doesn't have those weird coercions between types.

definitely gonna try to write my next web app's backend in rust. i know, rust for web dev lol, but the fearless concurrency meme is too good. i want to make high performance apps.

though tbh setting up guice is not really more complex than setting up typescript in terms of effort.

these are beginner opinions, so i'd like to know what more experienced programmers feel. i like java as well bc it's very specific, but i don't like how it's so rigidly oop. i feel like i end up writing a lot of boilerplate and i don't like having to setup guice.

i know people like to hate on js, but i still like it. rust is the One True Language, but js and ts are fun. you can move so fast with them.

spent the evening adjusting problems with node_modules bc a bad git push lmao. learned some useful tools in reflog and reset, though.
