Is this performance I'm missing out on? Probably...? But probably something that'd be very hard to actually use. Letting some threads start early on the next frame sounds like an organizational nightmare. Especially when the max benefit is only as big as the black areas on this graph anyway.

Fun little extra, running this with no optimizations and gprof really slows it down... So much so that you can see where threads start to sit idle until they've all finished and they can start on the next frame.
