So before starting cancer treatments, a patient should comparison shop for the best price on chemo?!? If I need heart surgery, do I need to price shop for every part of the procedure - the hospital, the anesthesiologist, the surgeon, the aftercare??

Thank you for the explanation re: voting against interests vs looking at where interest lies. Essentially people want to have more in common with the moneyed elite than the poor, so they vote for parties/policies that will hurt the poor. Perception vs. reality.

Oooh, I know the answers to all of those!!! Yet, I recognize I’m probably in the minority.

This makes me so sad. Not the Fiji part; I’d love to travel to Germany to see the Christmas markets but I don’t have thousands laying around. But that the normal things people want (home ownership, marriage, student debt relief) seem out of reach for so many.
