I'm 52, working class, brought up in the East Midlands, in the 70s & 80s, a hotbed of racism. I do not recall a single boy obsessed with Hitler. I do recall though, lots of racist middle aged men. Why do grown men try to project racism onto children, in the same way they do projecting misogyny?
