White liberals who were willing to ignore the oppression of Black people aren't joining the fight. They're willing to defend themselves but they still see Black people as lesser than. Im tired of my dehumanisation being other people's lesson or stepping stone.
This is very true but if white liberals are ever going to truly come into the fight they have to start recognizing that they can’t stand outside it and cheer from the sidelines. This is a necessary step for some people to grasp that “When the wind shakes the nest no egg will not be broken.”
Seeing the erasure of Black Lives Matter in real time will never not be jarring bc what do you mean they're 'finally' murdering US citizens & getting away with killing people in broad daylight 'now' & 'starting' to call victims terrorists & 'going to' to it to others???
