- 13th & 14th, end 3rd Rd picks, 4% extra salary cap next year only
- 15th & 16th, end 2nd Rd picks, 100 draft points, 3% extra salary cap next year only,
- bottom 3, end 1st Rd picks, 200 draft points, 2% extra salary cap next year only, 2 extra rookie list spots

Try this instead.
- every team plays the other over 17 (18 with Tassie) round
- top 12 allocated into 2 pools: 1,3,5,8,10,12 and 2,4,6,7,9,11
- 5 further rounds to determine the Top 8
- same Finals series as we have enjoyed for 25 years

By the way, bottom pool 13 - 18, play 5 rounds in their pool
