The Quake3 hit sound is a modified Windows 95 musica sound scheme noise at a different pitch and with a little more bass/punch to it. The metadata was preserved if you don't believe me.

i do what the current accurate linux OS 8/9 platinum themes (xfce4 preferred) are. the ones i have installed are all off-feeling, don't have all the color variants, and don't have the control strip or the bezel corners
