My beloved couldn't handle not having a dog in the house for more than a few weeks and thus I find myself introducing Percy, a 1 year old Whippet. He's a rescue from Wexford Dog Rehoming Centre wexfordrehoming.ie )

Absolutely exhausted having spent the last few days convincing Poppy to stop sniffing around the rainbow bridge and stick with us.
Vet reckons she's stable and with the help of some medication to keep her trachea open she will be with us for a good bit longer.
This one sleeps now.

One of my favourite things this week was the look on our DMs face when they passed out their carefully prepared letters (we found them on a corpse) and instead of opening them we had a 10 minute, serious discussion on the morality of opening someone else's mail if they're dead.

Day started with a leg cramp 10 minutes before my alarm was due to go off and the esb bill arriving minutes later. I have countered this horrid start with a brunch with lovely people and treating myself to this glorious piece of bourgeois tech
