Ex engineer, pithy, sarcastic but not rude.
They're trying to create a party with a mature organisational structure in 6 months, which other parties could only manage in decades.

Add policy design by committee and you've got the perfect recipe for chaos.

Starmer was DPP and no doubt has many friends still in the system. It's inconceivable that the Labour leadership didn't know about the state of the Justice system.

Actually the main reason Reeves dropped the 3 child benefit cap is because the Greens (in particular) have been advocating for it and the backlash from traditional labour voters.

If it has anything to do with keeping kids out of poverty, then they wouldn't have punished MPs for voting against it.

It's not true that electric car owners don't contribute towards the maintenance of our roads, unless Ms Reeves is advocating for hypothecated taxes.

Everyone pays VAT on electricity and there's already a VED, not to mention the VAT on the car which is usually higher in price than ICE cars.

They're not centrists if on every single issue they prefer the far Right's policies.

What's the difference between Nathan Gill taking money to ask questions in the European parliament for Russia and much of the UK parliament actively supporting a country in the process of a genocide?

Are the presenters stupid or so they buy into the "ask for a raise, learn new skills, work more" rhetoric? Did they push back on this nonsense?

It's actually an 'Alien' ship.

It's like 7 inches from the midday sun.

Actually most of Starmer's Labour MPs are cheering with delight now that Tommy Robinson is on the same side.

Just one thing though, Tommy hasn't changed his far Right politics.

The only problem with your argument is that we already have a government that apes Reform.

And I thought you were a vegan!

What would be funny is if Labour replaces Starmer with Streeting and he then loses to Leanne Mohamad at the next election.
November 12, 2025 at 5:03 PM
So if the Left can't trust Labour, the Right can't trust them and the Centre can't trust them, it makes you wonder what they stand for... apart from themselves, obviously.
November 12, 2025 at 10:45 AM
The main question is what will Labour cut as a result, since they won't be implementing a wealth tax or taxes on their donors (the rich!). Maybe they'll find a stealth way to tax the poor?
November 10, 2025 at 4:59 PM
If it's true that Reeves will U turn on the child benefit cap, it doesn't mean she won't cut other essential benefits and keeping families in poverty isn't a reason to vote for Labour.

This kind of 'gotcha journalism' and the condescending smirk just makes the 'journalist' look stupid and good on @zackpolanski.bsky.social for helping Phillips achieve that.

#Cop30

That time of year when rich western countries give empty promises to the poorest countries so that they can keep exploiting their resources at a knock down price (assuming they don't take them at the point of a gun!).

Funny how politicians have a change of heart on the Israeli genocide of Gaza after they can do anything meaningful about it.

TBF hope under the Tories and much of Labour has always been a facade.

With the @greenparty.org.uk, we have more than hope, we have a positive world to vote for.
