The FBI has published photos of evidence in the case, which people are skeptical about, and have made some good points in comment threads. I include a few below. (Evidence photos published in 'The Desert Sun', Dec 15, 2025)

In the clip, what Pete Hegseth says is measured and makes a lot of sense. What changed? Why is he now moving to prosecute a respected veteran for saying the same thing he himself once said?

But to think that we are better than another because they are different is a dangerous idea. I do not think it is just. I do not think it is Christlike.

I say to those who come after me and my family - I do not want to slam the door shut now that my family and I have gotten what we so ardently desired.

Of course we should be wise- to vet those who want to come as we were vetted. To ask them to work as most of us worked.
