The person who did this is an asshole. Using this space for convenience when no wheelchair user is on the train is understandable, but not making any effort to remove it when I boarded (IN MY WHEELCHAIR) is just disregard for my safety and the safety of those nearby.

I find it humiliating to constantly have to take detours due to architectural barriers and the sheer indifference of my fellow citizens and neighbors to the inclusion of disabled people. I hope that they can learn to share some of my shame.
