I left the GOP in my early 20's in 1992 when I realized the party allowed evangelical christians like Pat Robertson & Jerry Falwell to essentially take over the party. I knew then they were heading down the white nationalist path then and wanted no part of it.

The GOP has only gotten worse since Reagan allowed evangelical christians to impose their religious beliefs on party policies.
