It is impossible to be in an “armed conflict” with people who have not only never fired a shot at any member of the US military, but, as far as we know from any presented evidence (none), are not even armed.

NYT reports a claim that Maduro & Trump discussed a meeting in the US, without mentioning that the US has a warrant out for Maduro’s arrest & a $50M bounty on him. The idea that Maduro would even consider a meeting in the US is preposterous.

Trump math on display. That $2000 is never going to happen (except for high income people!). But if it did, turning $2000 into $2M would take 10 successive double or nothing bets. 999 out of 1000 people would lose everything doing that. (And bets at, eg, roulette, only pay 18/38, or 47%, not 50%).

Trump says an old man with cancer was a “bad guy” & gets no sympathy, & mocks another who lost use of an arm in war. I strongly opposed both Biden & McCain, but that that doesn’t stop me from saying that Trump is an absolutely disgusting human being without a shred of human decency.
