Finished my 34th book of the year. In the future AI robot servants rise up in revolt after an act of terrorism against them. They start wiping out the human race, but a small number of them refuse to join the robot revolution and fight to protect humans. It’s very good! #books #scifi #reading

Another walk through the woods this morning. Chilly but no wind. Some of the things I saw:

2 movies, 2 docs. Scorsese is brilliant, as is its subject. Del Toro is one weird dude. Had not seen Gorky Park in decades; very very good. Had never seen 12 Monkeys, and I liked it.

Out walking this morning and came across this sign. This trail has been open to the public for decades. For some reason NYPA, that created the trail, wants no one to use it. I walked it anyway and saw no indication that anything was amiss. I hope they aren’t planning to destroy it.

This book probably won’t convince die hard conspiracy kooks but Posner lays out a valid breakdown of all the theories and why they are wrong/incomprehensible/dumb. This book is 32 years old. Fascinating and well researched.
