Saw my first blue jay ever, at my feeder this morning. Saw another bird with red-orange on its head and tail and a fuzzy ruff around neck but it flew away before I got a good look. I’m so excited to watch birds!

Served with thin sliced ribeye, rice noodles, bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime juice, sriracha, hoisin, chili oil crunch.
Unbelievable umami and so savory!

I had paw paws from the farmers market last summer, kept seeds in sand in fridge. I potted three seeds in a pot this summer, forgot about them, sowing wildflower seeds on top when nothing came up. I looked up what the larger plants were that sprouted, and lo and behold, they are paw paws!
