This was a really exciting sighting and very cool for @kezomalley.bsky.social's first Liwonde trip! The cheetah instantly went to hide in the long grass and was down wind of the lions so stayed undetected. The lions were unaware and carried on their way.
Two for one! We knew from radiotracking that there were a few lions in the area, but it was a nice surprise to have them join us while we watched the cheetah. A worthwhile weekend escape with @leastracq.bsky.social to Liwonde National Park! 🦁🐆
