OK, so I supported the older daughter at her 10K, and a younger at her soccer tournament – loved every minute of both! But, time to get my workout in! My luck when I realize I am only a third of the way through leg day!

First 10 K since coming back from some ankle tendinitis – did it in less than an hour even conservatively running!

Loss and a win at today’s tournament. She was made captain, again. Although her first year at this club, she’s selected as captain often bc of the leadership she shows at practice and on the field. Great last year of club soccer!

Today’s Visitor was the DNC vice chair and she went out in canvas for us! It is almost 3 o’clock and I’ve walked about 9 miles. Scott and I ran into each other as our turf was adjacent! 3 rounds so far. Back to the office to launch others!

So today @kenmartin.bsky.social DNC chair visited the Norfolk @teamspanberger.bsky.social office! Not only that, he went out knocking doors! He does that across the country. Another incredibly busy day here – ready for tomorrow! And my fellow volunteer leads brought their dogs – also quite exciting.

What a day at the Norfolk Spanberger office! Sen. Kelly visited us from Arizona! He said why these elections are important, and we must fight for this country. I asked how Senate Rs really feel about a lot of what was going on. He said many dislike much of it, but afraid of retribution from Trump.
