With these improvements, Verkko2 can now assemble ~40/46 diploid human chromosomes as T2T scaffolds (and ~20 as T2T contigs). This release represents a ton of work from @dantipov.bsky.social, Mikko Rautiainen, and @sergek.bsky.social Looking forward to many more T2T genomes generated in 2025! 🎆
