I remember saying then, "This is the best cigarette of my life"
Well, I want you just like that
Indio haze, we're in a sandstorm and it knocks me out
I didn't know then that you'd never be enough, oh
Since l was seventeen, I gave you everything
Now we wake from a dream, well, baby

WHAT WAS THAT?
‘I thought I was getting better, but I’m back to where I started. Thought the straight line was a circle, yeah the straight line was a lie!’

America, you know you fly flags a lot right? Like a lot more than most countries do? I’m not talking about pride flags or whatever but the US flag in particular. It’s so everywhere all the time??

Like sure we have British flags flying here on some buildings and stuff but it’s not EVERYWHERE

To whoever made it so that exercising, eating well, meditating daily, sticking to a routine and taking your meds actually makes you happy, I want a word with you 😤

Honestly wonder how some people are passing the driving test because they somehow pass and then seemingly forget how to drive the second they buy a car. Lights switched off in the dark, not indicating, driving either 10mph over or under the limit constantly, being on their phones!

In light of the news about Discord, community can happen elsewhere. It always has and it says will. Discord may no longer be viable but we will find other places.
Trans people - read this article. We are here and always have been here. Organising and community doesn’t always have to happen in online spaces owned by people who don’t want us to have rights

The return of the trans underground
The internet once helped trans people connect and organize. Now it’s a dangerous liability. What comes next?

Been to the gym for the first time since before Christmas and I’m genuinely proud of myself. 6 weeks off hasn’t impacted my fitness too much though I suspect quitting vaping has helped with that

Did the thing though!

Turns out I really was getting spiritually enlightened at 29. The 1975’s song that I first heard 8 years ago got that bang on

Also, music is deeply spiritually connecting for me in ways that I didn’t understand fully back then

As cringe as it might sound, I love this journey I’m on 💖

‘Are you, are you
Coming to the tree?
They strung up a man
They say who murdered three
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met at midnight
In the hanging tree’

So many people like to forget that ‘lest we forget’ isn’t just about the memory of individual soldiers. It’s about the pointlessness of war and the need to be vigilant against tyranny and fascism.

That is what ‘lest we forget’ really means

Deleted the Instagram app off my phone and I’d get rid of WhatsApp too if I could. Trying to remove what American and social media apps I realistically can, especially anything related to Meta

Every week or so the queer community on BlueSky tears itself apart over something pretty unimportant in the grand scheme, and nobody wins. Ever. It’s painful to watch. We’ve DEFINITELY got enough problems already.

How do I explain that a rave is perfectly enjoyable but the background noise of a restaurant is too much to a neurotypical person??
January 17, 2026 at 1:09 PM
One of the things about autism is that you can feel the pain of the world around you very deeply and it really hurts seeing the state of everything. Like why can’t people be nice and decent? And no, I reject that being ‘overly simplistic’. Why is that ‘simplistic’? Why is the world so mean?

Brain: VAPE! NOW!!

Me: no we’re quitting

Also brain: BUT IT TASTE SO NICE AND FEEL SO GOOD

Also me: you know what else tastes and feels good? not tasting like vape when people kiss you and the increased lung capacity will mean getting hotter in the gym will be easier

Also also brain: damn ok

So I’ve been sick with tonsillitis for the last few days but I’ve taken this as an opportunity to stop vaping and it’s been 4 days now so that’s good but the cravings are really starting to hit 🙃
