Checked, and this is true. F2M surgery came about because a surgeon was reconstructing penis's on solders who lost them in WWII

There is now the thinking that civilization did not begin with agriculture, buildings etc, but with a healed femur.
The reasoning being that the individual would have needed weeks/months of care from others; including food, protection, companionship, community support, cooperation, and empathy.
