As the 120-day period for the Attorney General to appoint an interim U.S. Attorney for the district was passed, that the local district court judges should have appointed the U.S. Attorney not the Attorney General. The AG cannot keep making interim appointments to avoid Senate confirmation.

When the press is provides the American people with misinformation (or even disinformation) that creates a serious danger to the foundations of our democracy. 3/3

In our democracy, the people select elected officials to represent them. In order to determine if those individuals are truly representing them, the American people need information on what they are doing and so they rely on a free press to provide them with the information they need. 2/3
