Scream 7, The Dreadful, This is Not a Test, and The Mortuary Assistant intrigue me the most.

It took me 100 hours to beat Nioh, and there was still plenty to dig into with that game even with my playstyle changing over that first playthrough. I love this series. Team Ninja are the masters of the genre. Masters of action in general.

"You are watching what is happening on screen and, at any given moment, you have maybe three options for how to respond."

This is key. I was ready to blow off the "Souls-like" genre completely until I played Nioh. I tried Bloodborne before, and I was disappointed and bored by the limited combat.

Best: Season 2 because it moves past nostalgia to dig into the reality of being black and a girl in the 80s while expanding the show

Worst: Season 5 because it had no compelling storylines

Osgood Perkins's movies The Monkey and Keeper. The Monkey is his best film.
