Omg your bias really shows. Why not blame the tories and Lib Dem’s at the House of Lords instead?

bsky.app/profile/warr...
The state of this from the BBC...

...making it sound like businesses have got Labour...while casting doubt on the 'claim' it's due to the Lords.

We no, as I've been telling you for weeks, the Lib Dems and the Tories in the Lords keep blocking this.

Our Labour government ARE taxing wealth.

They ARE making the wealthiest in society pay more.

They did it in the last Budget & I expect more tomorrow.

Anyone who says it's not happening is lying to you.

Anyone who promotes phrases like 'tax billionaires' with no details is selling false hope.

Speculation, speculation hasn’t stopped.
We’re sick of it. They do it on purpose to hurt the economy.

Why is @bethrigby.bsky.social always so rude when interviewing politicians. At some point journalists have to have respect. We don’t see journalists in America doing this. Let the man respond then come in. Geez!

If you prioritize robust human rights protections, international legal frameworks, the UK's global standing, & the stability of the Good Friday Agreement, you would likely see it as a detrimental move.

The Impact it will have by leaving might not, in practice, give the UK as much freedom as proponents claim, as it would still be bound by other international obligations.

Even outside the ECHR, the UK would still need to meet human rights standards for various international agreements (e.g., trade deals, extradition treaties, UN conventions).

Re Rwanda, Conservatives had already spent over £240 million, and only 4 volunteers were deported under the scheme.
Additional payments of up to £370 million over five years were agreed if the scheme went ahead.
It was going to cost 200,000 per person.
Too expensive.

Sky news interviewed an ex prisoner, shocking to what goes on in there.

Maybe Politico should make an effort to do the same rather than concentrate on a ‘headline?’

So you’re for Scottish Independence? Do you want to rejoin the EU too?
To join the EU you’ll need a Digital ID as a law has been implemented. All countries must have them by early 2026.

The offer of £3,000 appears under the UK’s voluntary return/relocation programme for those who have had their asylum claim refused and have no lawful right to stay in the U.K.

The Irony!
