Yeah, I realized after it wasn’t as big as 2018 but wow it’s the first time I’ve felt things shake that hard again.

Yikes! I don't...enjoy...my ex husband, per se, but since he's a naturalized citizen, I did warn him as soon as Trump took office that he should carry proof of his citizenship w/ him because clearly I don't want racist fascist systemic harm to happen to the father of my children. Who does that!!??

Who knows, maybe they don't even know they're lying. But yeah I don't like it. If someone is brave enough to ask, I think it should call on us to brave enough to at least think about it.

That makes total sense to me. What then do you if they ask why you walked away?
What I’m baffled by is people who answer that question “oh, nothing’s wrong at all” but then the actions don’t match.

I’d like to fully understand. What do you mean you didn’t hold enough value? Like that person didn’t treat you with respect or like you were valued? Or do you mean you didn’t value the relationship enough to do that? Is that bc it was a passing fleeting thing or bc it was harmful?

This makes me wonder about the frequency of something I’ve been afraid of since this admin took over, which is white people or citizens using racist ICE practices to harm their co-parents & gain custody.
