And as I said, AI also makes up citations. A fellow residents is a former psychology professor. He received a request for an article of his that was cited in a scholarly journal (apparently written with the aid of AI). The citation was to a non-existent hallucinated article.

Don't forget that AI also is prone to hallucinations-making up things including source citations by extrapolating ideas and papers it finds on the internet.
