I feel like sometimes a person recognizes a kindred spirit in the form of being a big old nerd about something you both really love, and I'm glad you got to have a cool moment of mutual pen nerdery and also got a Bonus Pen for it!

Fortunately my brand™️ is being very slow and taking forever to do anything so I've run off all the normal people who are like this, leaving me with a handful of the very good patient people who still exist

Yeah, I think that's probably a healthier and wiser choice. We're not wired to have bad news streamed right into our brains 24/7 and every single friend of mine who has unplugged has been glad for it. I'm just so used to being isolated without online that it's hard to convince myself to let it go...
