Once nearly voted “Most Likely to Have an Opinion”. Lover of food and books and cute things. Never shuts up about the greatness of public libraries and myofascial therapy balls
Done! I know mine will but I told her I wanted her to hear how we want her to keep standing up for trans rights

Made ALL THE COOKIES & CANDY with the kids to give to family. Eldest is home from first year of college and gets to be here *all* of advent (thanksgiving til Jan). Cantored at Mass Sat night and sang the best Advent songs, the Hurd Ready the way and People Look East (best alto lines) + King Has Come

This is Floppy. Gifted to me in 1999 when I lived in a very cold Paris studio. Has lived in three countries with me and seen many hot water bottles but has lasted beautifully. Nothing more comforting that flannel sheets, duvet and Floppy

I LOVE this film. Made my family watch for my birthday a few years ago and, as I hoped, the kids adored it too. It has aged so well.

Wait, what? Whatever happened to Orlando Bloom and their purchase of Bragg’s because of their shared love of apple cider vinegar? I’m clearly behind the times, happily so

But they’re the first ones to grift things that they don’t deserve such as PPP loans as just one example. They’re the reason we need to have some regulation in place for safety nets and accommodations because they’re the type of folks most likely to exploit the good will of others

Thank you for sharing! I loooove my yoga tuneup balls but think that the wheels may be an excellent addition to my myofascial & massage tools

“Everyone is faking” actually can be true as it relates to irresponsible use of AI in the classroom, but the problem is much less the individual students than the fact that our culture told them that it was the credential that matters rather than the learning. It’s all scarcity, zero-sum thinking

Absolutely. It’s also based on a cynical definition of the purpose of ed. The Integrated Schools podcast ep with Dr Eve L. Ewing and what “education” means for whites vs BIPOC really opened my eyes to how education is used to create docile workers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bf0_GenxgBw
