and I'm so tired of the "transmed" strawman, I don't think anyone serious is actually saying that medical transition makes you more trans than anyone else, but everyone gets really defensive when you point out how people's needs change when they have certain surgeries or start certain treatments :/

ough takes like that just get used to class trans healthcare as somehow less necessary than other healthcare, and it's always someone who doesn't need it who's making the argument...

this has been my number one takeaway from moving to a denser city, I take transit to work and I try to only drive occasionally. the transit here is actually solid but it could be soooo much better and get sooo many cars off the damn road.
