That’s never going to happen. It took them 3 years to get him into the courtroom after his last term. He is really old!!

I switch up frequently. I have certain shoes I absolutely can not wear, like Hokas. This has nothing to do with running injury. I have a foot drop and those huge cushioned shoes are an ankle fracture waiting to happen.

Left lower abdominal pain that I ignored and wrote off as possible diverticulitis. When my pelvis finally broke it felt like I was shot it was so sudden during a 5k. But I had that dull left abdominal pain for weeks prior.

Directly running related would be the pelvic fracture I had. It took about 8 weeks to heal.

When I finished NYC marathon a few weeks ago I told my family if I sign up for anything longer then a half in the future please feel free to punch me in the face. As of right now, I still mean it.

There is always an inner monologue, the crazy part is I rarely remember what i was thinking about.

I like the local turkey trot. Its scenic, busy. And for a great cause, and I run it every year. Even years that I could not run due to injury or illness, I went and walked.

Rest days, and listening to my body. If something hurts that shouldn’t take a day or two instead of pushing and causing injury.
