West Virginia right now: the southern coalfields area has been hit with record breaking floods and hurricane-level winds. This caused a mine blowout, yet as of now kids are expected to go to school. Meanwhile our supermajority GOP senate wants to rename our highest peak “[47] Mountain.” Not a joke.
Facebook post from Logan County Schools: “Announcement for Holden Area Students. Any student living in the area near the mine blowout can meet the bus at Kimball Avenue during their normal pick up time. All other bus routes in the Holden area will be on their regular schedule.” A comment below by Hope Bannister says “this is literal psychopath behavior.”

Gus, and more importantly, Gus-tail.
