Yes to both! The excessive yawning is annoying in general, and because it means I have a major migraine. Glad I'm not the only one.

Not for a short course, but I took Depakote 500mg ER/2x daily as a preventative for a few months years ago, and sadly, saw no improvement. I had intractable migraine attacks during that period though. I'm not sure if the dosage is different for a short course either.
