Honestly, I'd subscribe.

One quick note: there were two older women at the back who I am almost certain “pretended” not to know how loud they were an whose commentary was an absolute scream. "Oh my lord, the arrogance.” “Hah, look at the face he’s making!”

They were awesome. Worth the price of admission.

She can veto whatever she wants because Doug Ford has crowned her a Strong Mayor. Such utter BS.

Anyway, I was glad to see so many folks speaking up for the library. They got everything they need, so that's grand.

Town staff were unprepared, belligerent, and profoundly unhelpful. The councillors are more interested in needling each other than accomplishing things for the good of the community. The mayor — with her strong mayor powers — lords over the whole thing like an almighty arsehole.

I stayed for 3.5 hours and they were only through three of 38 budget amendment proposals. I knew that there were some BS things happening on town council but I was unprepared for how utterly childish and unintelligent the whole affair was.

At a town council meeting. Not convinced this is real. Am I on an episode of Parks and Rec? I’m not convinced that I’m not on reality tv.
