New blog post! In which I explain the issue with mediation analysis and sketch out one way to deal with the underlying causal inference problem -- in just a bit over 1,000 words!

If you have never found the time to read up on this, now is your chance.

If you are interested in beautiful graphs, fun science projects and the best phd supervisor, reach out to Ruben. One phd project focuses on LLMs and defragmenting psychology, the other phd project just has to fit in Ruben’s interests (which is not very hard😊).
Want to make nice graphs with me, starting this summer? I am hiring for two PhD positions at the University of Witten/Herdecke.

Why do women switch their contraceptive method? We have a new preprint led by Chiara Draxler with a focus on sexuality-related predictors: osf.io/preprints/ps... Contraceptive satisfaction - but not sexual satisfaction or sexual frequency - predicts contraceptive switches.
