I have very few het ships but Kacchako are so fun togerher, I love how their fandom doesn't fear for Katsuki a feminine, curvy counterpart that is sexy AND goofy AND bubbly AND a bit of a menace altogether. I also love when Katsuki is autistic and nerdy.

I'm working with a society that is in clear partnership with the public administration and they still won't pay me. What do they think the situation is out there?? I'm the lucky one and I'm STILL underpaid.

I had no means of sound ill intended, of course publishers have a very important role in preserving culture, just shared a perspective. What I say don't exclude your publisher's statement.

French import a lot and do it with style 💅🏻

Also, France has a huge passion for horror, goth and sci-fi genres so it's only natural that readers want to read more of it. French market is quite big, but primarily it's sustained through foreigner's rights. Autoctone rights are usually from graphic novelists.

Based on the italian system...

That is to say, if another publisher take over an author's whole pubblication it means that rights are "lost".
Publishers find more convenient at this point to publish as much as possible of that author to not lose their rights on it. Even more if it's a very selling author like you.

Another explaination is quite less romantic 😅 in Europe, competition between publishers is higher. Usually, when rights of an excellent author are bought, they are bought in totum so that they have the monopoly. Publishers know better than "touch" what is considered "other's domain".
