The focus will be:
🔹 on increasing pressure on Russia, including further sanctions and combating the “shadow fleet”;
🔹 on the situation in the Middle East, including Syria, and the implementation of the Gaza peace plan;
🔹 on EU-China relations.

This strengthens Iraqi 🇮🇶 institutions, supports their reforms, cooperation with EU partners & highlights Latvia’s contribution to the EU’s security & defense policy.

🛡️ The Latvian State Border Guard shared European best practices in integrated border management at the EU’s 🇪🇺 external border, immigration control, & countering hybrid threats.

Thus, we are joining the Baltic states’ initiative in Ukraine as such banners have been installed on the grounds surrounding 🇱🇻🇪🇪🇱🇹 embassies in Kyiv.
