I’ve had that exact scenario happen to me. I had to take a mental break due to academics and whatnot, and then someone accused me of ghosting them and ditching them because I “had new friends” on a development team I was in, before going on an angry rant at me for distancing

getting upset and beginning to paint you in a bad light over it. We’re only human and need to rest too! Actual friends shouldn’t force others to interact or start accusing them of ghosting them, when in reality they’ll eventually come back to it. We need more of this mindset (2/2)

I believe I should also include that my time away from other communities has been helping me have a better peace of mind, and is allowing for me to find it in me to continue with work relating to other projects. The lightness is helping, really
